Our school is built on the instruction, values, and traditions passed down through generations of martial artists. We are especially grateful for the guidance of Grand Master James Cox, whose mentorship, dedication to his students, and passion for teaching shaped our instructors and left a lasting impact on our martial arts journey. After his unexpected and sudden passing in 2025, his staff remained dedicated to continue to empower others through martial arts, just as James had done for them and so many others. JC Martial Arts was created in his honor in 2026.
At JC Martial Arts, we strive to honor those lessons every day - not by looking backward, but by carrying forward the values of discipline, respect, integrity, perseverance, and service to others. Every class is an opportunity to help students become stronger physically, mentally, and emotionally.
While JC Martial Arts is its own independent school, we proudly recognize and respect the instructors and mentors who helped shape our journey. We are commited preserving the spirit of traditional martial arts and those who taught before us while continually serving the Abilene community with excellence.
